Paige is quite alert.
At 4:30pm on 58th and 10th Ave. Paige Carol Doxey was born 8 lbs 4 oz. 20 inches long to a mother who's epidural didn't work! Despite the obvious trauma to Amber, Paige came out beautifully with just 20 minutes of pushing. Way to go Amber!!! Here's some pics. More deets to follow.

OHHHHHH!!!! SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations you guys! She is perfect! We are so happy for you and so glad, Amber, that it's over for you! Sorry your delivery was so hard. We were praying for you. We can't wait to see her in person. Way to go! She is gorgeous. Leah is going to LOVE her!!!!!!! Love you!
Oh! What a beautiful baby! Oh! What a beautiful family! I'm sure Heavenly Father and Jesus are just as thrilled as we are. I've been praying so hard that the birth would go well for Amber and that baby and Mom would be very healthy. Well, I guess half of my prayers were answered!I just have to say "Hat's Off" and Congratulations Amber! WOW, what a mother!You did it all without the epidural. This puts you in the "bravest pioneer mother" category.I am so humbled that she carries my name. I will always try to merit this trust you have in me. I am thrilled and honored. Little Paige looks a lot like my Doxey babies--but I can see such a beautiful look of Amber and the Jensens as well. Leah looks like she is practicing "soft" in the picture as she lovingly pats Paige on her head--hope this continues--oh! I'm sure it will.My heart is so full tonight as I contemplate the bounty of blessings we have been showered with these last few days. Congratulations to you all. yeah, pictures!!!! My favorite is the one where it is only her (and Dougs arm). She looks like she is 2 months old and just so pretty with a perfect face. You just have the cutest kids.

WOW!!!!!! I love her already! You must be some sort of super human to go through child birth without and epidural! You guys are the cutest little New York family ever! AMBER!!! I used to think Julia was the very last of the pioneer women, but now I'll have to change my story--you are truly the very, very last of the pioneer women. Paige seriously looks like she is 2-3 months old! No newborn scrunchy face, no alien look, no crazy coloring, no cone head, just perfect! And Doogie, you couldn't have timed it better--right during 6 finals. You guys are living history--truly writing a new Paige. Get it?
Yeah for Paige. She looks a lot like Lilly AND Leah to me.....and so alert! I hope she gets lots of good sleep tonight. See you tomorrow.

Congrats Amber and Doug! We're so excited that your little girl is FINALLY here! I think I called Laura everyday for a week wondering if she had decided to arrive yet! We're happy for you guys and glad she's healthy and strong! Ha ha... our little girl's middle name is going to be Paige... that's funny! Congrats again and best of luck with a speedy recovery!

Oh guys, what a fun time! Paige is so beautiful!! She doesn't even have any blemishes! I can't wait to hold her. Cherish the moments. Amber my heart goes out to you. Every pain from now on is going to be nothing. Doesn't it feel good that you have probably hurdled the hardest physical pain already in your life? What a champ!
