Motherhood (minus) Maternity

I had to burn some time today while waiting for Doug after school, so I decided to do some shopping (yes, the center of Harlem has some good shopping). I of course found myself in Motherhood Maternity and I found a very cute, modest dress. It's so cute I'm almost excited to get bigger so that I can wear it. As I've been thinking of all the things I wish I could've bought, I've decided that they should make their clothes in regular sizes (regular meaning non-maternity). They're reasonably priced, cute, and you can easily find modest options. Then I got thinking that maybe the reason I love their clothes so much is because its OK to look frumpy in them- that's what their meant for, so I'm not overly critical of myself as I try things on- which makes for a very satisfied customer.

Basically I've just found one more great thing about pregnancy- since I may as well look on the bright side.

so true - once you've been pregnant or nursing for almost two years straight you do have to look on the bright side of things or life could get really depressing!! You start to wonder if the chubbiness will last forever!! It's all worth it!! So gald to hear about life!!

Glad to hear you found a cute dress. There is nothing worse than being pregnant and feeling not-cute!

Can't wait to see it!
