May started out busy with Liz and Jimmy's wedding weekend. Getting back from a quick weekend trip and rushing back into life always throws me for a loop. But the show must go on!
Luckily the rest of the month slowed down but always still very busy.

| I captured this mess of a kitchen because I had cleaned the house to host preschool and after the kids left, I looked around so defeated. With a screaming baby at my hip and only an hour to prepare for the after-school hours, I just sat down and wanted to cry. But crying seems to be the MO in our house lately. |
| And here is the preschool group. |
| Brigham is in that "into everything stage of life" EVERYTHING! |
| Sydney was sick for a couple days and once she felt better, she was so happy she decided to clean the playroom all by herself, which is just a treat for me. Then of course there was the obligatory photo shoot in many poses. |
Brigham's first hair cut- luckily Doug is quite skilled at cutting hair. Every time we cut our babies hair, I afterward I wonder what took us so long. I love the look on Brigham.
| Brigham is starting to climb things. At the Mall play area, its a good place to practice. |
| I have no idea what they were doing but Sunday's always include some shenanigans. |
Six Flags. With season passes, we decided to go on a last min day trip. We got there about 3 pm on a Friday- right when all the school buses full of high school kids left. It was perfect timing. We pretty much walked onto every ride.
| Doug and I both rode the VooDoo by ourselves. It was hilarious watching one person on the ride, and I still laughed and screamed so loud! |
We try to walk, bike, or scoot to or from school as often as possible. Its kind of touchy for me because I don't want Brigham to fall asleep in the stroller which would ruin his naps. Sydney has gotten really good on a scooter, shes so cute to watch as she does a ballet pose or sticks her leg out to the side. She's pretty proud of it too.
| And this girl...just how cute is she? |
The kids and I took a trip to Legends where we let Brigham play in the water for the first time. And of course, he loved it.
And for some reason, Doug came home with fish for the girls...lets see how long they last.
| They taped the names behind the glass. Cute! |
| We have plans for our backyard, but doing things by our-self it will be slow going. I had it in my mind that I'd get this obnoxious holly bush out. It took literally all day and some, lots of sweat, and by the end I was so sore I could barely move. Ugh- no more holly bushes in our future! |
| Thanks to Amber Lee's suggestion, we started doing centers on Sunday mornings. I set up three centers and the girls rotate between each one for 20 min at a time- it really has been a Sunday game changer. |
| This is one of the stations. Each girl added to the picture, I love how it turned out. |
