I need to record more of the every day...here are some recent favorites.
Leah:
Leah:
-Learning how to read, watching the excitement on her face when she discovered she had
read a whole book. She can read Green Eggs and Ham and wants to read it over and over and over again, all 62 pages!
-Being the best big sister to Sydney. Always changing diapers, offering to taker her downstairs in the morning, playing with her. So concerned about Syd.
-"Mom, I want to be famous like Michael Jackson. We need famous people" She has this ongoing obsession with MJ.
-When I would cry about my Grandma Dodee, Leah quickly reminded me that I shouldn't be sad because its exciting that Dodee gets to be with Jesus and her Mom and Dad.
-"Paige, hurry and get your seat belt on before a police man pulls over mom and shoots her!"

Paige:
-Watching her eyes sparkle when ever I compliment her.
-So observant and willing to help. Loves to do things without me asking. Paige has an amazing work ethic. When the girls clean the refrigerator, Paige is very particular about placing everything back in its place. She's the perfect partner to fold laundry with.
-So incredibly smart! She gets so frustrated watching Leah do homework because Paige usually knows the answer before her.
-Could seriously dance her way through life. Paige has rhythm and is very in tune to her body.
-Deciding to take off her training wheels and taking off on her bike.

Sydney:
-Calls Doug by his first name. No idea why but it's hilarious to hear her belt it out.
-Driving home in the dark, Doug asked Leah to turn off the light. She didn't so Syd turns around and very sternly yells, "Now!"
-After getting shots at the Doctor. Crying, Syd said, "get Leah now...want Leah." meaning, lets pick Leah up from school now.
-Sydney likes to change clothes a lot and doesn't like wearing onesies. She wanted to take change PJ's and take off her onesie, I said no so she licked the sleeve of her shirt and said, "look, it wet!"
-Sydney is full of love, she runs up and kisses me anywhere all the time. I love it!
-Syd loves to climb up my arm and say, "I monkey- eh, eh, eh"

You will be so glad you recorded these memories... you don't think you will ever forget them... but you do! I wish I had been better at doing that. Your girls are DARLING! We cannot wait for you guys to get your buns out west!!! :)
Those are fun memories... Sydney is so hilarious.
