We live just 15 minutes from Hammonton, which happens to be the Blueberry capital of the World!
Last Saturday we ventured out to pick some bluets. We thought it might be pricey but wanted the adventure. To our surprise, they were $1.00 per pound, which is equal to a little over 1 1/2 pints.
We picked for about 30 minutes and thought we ought to stop cause I only had $8.00 cash.
We poured our stash on the scale- 2 1/2 lbs. We went back for another 2 lbs.
We walked away with 4.5 lbs for $4.50. Enough berries to fill a grocery bag.
We've been eating them by the mouth full and every bite is like a blue party in your mouth. These are good! So good that we're going back this Friday for more.

How long is the picking season? We may just have to come down and pick some for ourselves...
Wow that would be awesome. We LOVE blueberries. That is an amazing price especially if you get to eat as many as you want!! Have fun tomorrow.
