In a day's drive

Some people might think that driving seven hours is too long but to have family w/in a days drive is so exciting. We don't see much of Doug lately so I decided to head on up to the Boston/New Hampshire area last week. We spent a couple days with Ryan and Amber and fam and then the rest of the week in Boston with Karla (Dave was in San Francisco for work training). We had such a blast with family, I especially loved hanging out with Amber Lee and Karla- it was the perfect pic-me-up all of us needed. I will admit that driving past NYC and being in Boston made me feel pretty homesick for Astoria. Driving in the New England area during the fall is simply breathtaking. I kept saying that Bob Ross himself graced us with presence and many "happy tress." I loved every second of it.

The Make Way for Ducklings pond in Boston. Nothing better than a picnic in a beautiful park on an amazing day and an accordionist serenading us in the background.
I don't know if Ryan will like this pic but I love it. He works pretty long days and would come home and hold Sydney after he put his kids to bed, it was cute.
Love this picture of Robbie and Leah.

We picked Raspberries, once I tasted one, it was difficult not to eat every single one. That is what raspberries are supposed to taste like.
The sight of pumpkins makes me so happy. And look how cute that nine-month prego girl is!
Ryan is an awesome Uncle, always wants to play and bond with my girls.
We did this corn maze with the kids and then told them to go in a do it, I was amazed that they wanted to. I expected Paige to start screaming that she was lost but they had a blast. All we could hear was their cute giggles and their feet stomping on the dirt. I think they did it three times.

Hallie couldn't get any cuter.
All the grandkids love Karla, she'll be a great mom...any day now!
